Styled Shoot & Sparkling Wine.

We have had a great week here at the Inn. On Sunday morning (after feeding our full house), a local event planner (Chelsey Morrison, Gather Together Events) came in with bells and whistles to create a styled wedding photo shoot. Graced with some of the most talented vendors in the area, Chelsey created an Art Deco Inspired shoot that
really knocked our socks off!

It is such a pleasure to work with such wonderful people and we feel so lucky that Gather Together chose our location. We really did have a blast!

The hard working models, Chuck & Lindsay, did an incredible job as well...SO Great Gatsby!

But our week did not stop there! We just choose some amazing sparkling wines for our event on February 11th! The food pairings are going to be delicious! Beet & Fennel Soup with a French Rose? How can you NOT attend?
It is a great idea for Valentine's Day or just a fun Saturday!

We took some inspiration from the photo shoot's champagne tower!

A Very 1920's Affair!

In October, Julie & David tied the knot in front of a very small group of family. With so much love in their lives, they decided to pick a later date to celebrate with extended family and close friends. When looking at dates to celebrate, they decided on none other than New Year's Eve!

Julie decided that she was not going to be celebrating 2012, but more like 1926 and dressed accordingly. The Art Deco styled Inn (circa 1925) was a great background for the fedoras and peacock feathers that were worn for the evening festivities!

They decked out the Brodie Duke Hall with lounge furniture, a dance floor and lighting from American Party Rentals. Julie's family designed the floral arrangements that were wine bottles with peacock feathers and deep red roses along with eggplant calla lillies.

Thrills From the Grill served some delicious food and everyone watched the ball drop at midnight on our flat screen televisions (technology was not so 1920s....but who's counting!).

Julie & David were such a laid back and creative couple!
It was a blast and we wish them many years of happiness!
